dennis doty – founder & managing director
Hailing from the USA, Dennis arrived in Australia in 1992 to work for Optus. After over two decades in the country, becoming a citizen and starting a family, as well as accumulating an array of accomplishments in various senior roles – it can safely be said that Dennis is entrenched in the Australian telco-property industry landscape.
siteXcell (Total Site Solutions Pty Ltd trading as siteXcell®) was founded by Dennis in 2005. Since then his niche positioning has proved to be a successful formula with clients approaching him via a word-of-mouth reputation.
Since that time he has made clients millions of dollars through identifying untapped opportunities or risk factors involved in leasing projects. A conciliatory approach has also ensured mutually beneficial outcomes for both sides of the negotiating table in complex situations.
Before opening his own consultancy, Dennis worked for Crown Castle Australia in the role of Director – Property. His role entailed managing the strategic direction and operations of a property portfolio of 1400 sites valued at the time at $700m. This included customer liaison, product & service offer development, commercial negotiations, lease management, lessor management, tenure protection, and financial analysis and reporting.
Prior to working for Crown Castle, Dennis was Managing Director of Evernet Pty Ltd, a leading telco network deployment and site acquisition firm with over 1000 sites leased during his tenure.
As National Facilities Manager at AMP, he was the driver of a property and facilities management strategic plan for four Australian capital cities.
Dennis initially came to Australia to work on network deployments and infrastructure roll-out during the start-up stages at Optus Communications and Optus Vision.
(BellSouth Telecommunications Inc. is the operating company of AT&T that serves the south-eastern states). Prior to arriving in Australia, Dennis held various engineering, procurement, project management, and management positions at BellSouth over a number of years.
